Starting a visit on mobile is now quicker and clearer.
The new visit menu keeps
Record visit
as the primary action, with related options close at hand:
  • Pre-chart
    before the appointment
  • Upload a recording
    you already have
  • Choose a template
    before you begin
The compact menu opens over your current screen, so your navigation stays available while you choose how to start.

Adding files to a conversation just got easier. On desktop, you can now drag a PDF or image anywhere onto an existing chat — no more aiming for the message box. Drop it on the conversation, the title bar, or anywhere else on the page, and we'll attach it so you can send it.
A clear overlay appears as you drag so you know where the file will go.

Adding files to Scope just got easier. On desktop, you can now drag a file anywhere onto the home page — no more aiming for the chat box. Drop a visit recording (.mp3, .m4a, .aac, .wav, or .webm) and we'll start a new visit from it right away, or drop a PDF or image to attach it to your chat.

Accidentally deleted a visit? It's no longer gone forever.
When you delete a visit, it now moves to Trash instead of being erased immediately. You have 3 days to change your mind.
How it works
  • Deleted visits move to Settings → Trash, where you can restore them with one click.
  • After 3 days in the trash, a visit is permanently deleted — the note, transcript, and everything else about it are erased for good.▎
  • Need something erased right away? Use Delete permanently in the Trash.
Prefer the old behavior?
Turn off "Move deleted visits to trash" in Settings → Trash, and deleted visits will be permanently erased immediately.

Slash Commands

Slash commands are now available in every chat area (standalone chat, visit chat, template chat). Use them to save prompts you type often and expand them with a keystroke.
Setting them up
Go to Settings and scroll to the Slash Commands section. Hit "+ Add Command", give it a name (e.g. avs), and paste in the text you want it to expand to (e.g. "generate an after visit summary").

Using them
Type / in any chat box to see your full list, then pick the one you want. Enjoy!
Scope now automatically identifies and assigns the correct patient to your visit after transcription completes. It extracts the patient's name from the conversation, matches it to an existing patient in your roster, or creates a new patient record if one doesn't exist yet. You'll see a "Finding patient..." indicator while it works, and the patient selector updates automatically once assignment is complete. You can always override the selection manually.
After a visit note is generated, you can now ask the chat to create and/or assign patients to a visit.

You can now email templates to your colleagues. If you find one that fits your workflow, share it directly.

We pushed an update to allow drag-and-drop reordering of templates. The re-ordering also adjusts the order of the template options in the drop down on the home page. This allows users to easily find the templates that they use the most often.
