Often, I forget to assign the patient before the note renders. This means that all my carry forward things in the template do not render because it doesn't know which patient to take from. Separately, I often tweak the templates in real time to fix the way the template renders the note, but there is no way for me to test if the tweaks I made worked unless I wait to do another note on another patient.

I work around this by changing the note template to something else have scope re-generate the note. Then I change the note template back to the one I want so it can re-generate either with the patient's information or carry-forward stuff (after I assigned the patient) or to see if it rendered my template tweaks correctly.

Regenerating the note twice takes a lot of time. I would love it if there was some sort of re-generate button that I could click to do this. It makes making template changes so much easier and there is a lot less correcting I have to do.
